Accelerate Physiotherapy will primarily provide mobile services to the western areas. The plan is to offer patients physiotherapy service of the highest standard.
Some of the physiotherapy treatment techniques that we will utilise are listed below:
• Manual therapy including specific joint mobilisation to restore accessory movement
and decrease pain in spinal and peripheral joints and hence increase physiological
range of motion.
• Post-operative rehabilitation.
• Deep soft tissue techniques.
• Dry needling
• Treatment of acute sporting injuries.
• Muscular strengthening and stabilisation, including use of electrical and pressure
biofeedback.
• Postural exercises and educational programmes to decrease postural stress.
• Biomechanical analysis and correction.
• Gym rehabilitation using specific fitness and strengthening equipment.
The mobile business is also fully accredited with Medicare so we are able to provide
treatment under the EPC Programme. As you are aware this allows any patient
with a chronic condition to receive up to 5 fully funded physiotherapy treatments.
